Grandma and the kids took a trip to the Oklahoma City Zoo for this years Haunt the Zoo!  We had a great time as always.  Lot’s of people there on the night before Halloween.  It was nice to see that some of the sponsors were handing out more healthy treats than in the past, though the cans of Dr. Pepper given out to the kids may have tilted the scales back the other way.

Halloween night, the whole family (Liam’s first Halloween) went trick or treating.  We had a great time, though the economic downturn has apparently affected the holiday because there were fewer homes giving out candy.  The weather was great.  I think about 69 to 70 degrees and clear.  Liam stayed snuggled in his blanket with mommy the entire night.
